(Full Time) Reporting to the Senior Vice President, CA & TX Executive Director, The Regional Director of Business Development & Communication is responsible for promoting Phoenix Houses of CA’s programs to ensure continued referrals for clinical services and for researching opportunities for new business development. The Regional Director will lead the department and work in concert with the senior leadership team to achieve operating goals and to deliver accurate information to all publics.

The Regional Director of Business Development & Communication shall have responsibility for leadership, direction, and the success of the Business Development & Communication department at PH CA. The Regional Director shall exemplify the mission, values and philosophy of PH CA.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Sales required

  • Master’s degree in Business Management (or related Business discipline) preferred.

  • Must maintain a valid CA Drivers’ License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years progressively advanced experience in health care marketing and management, prefer behavioral health care experience preferred

  • Supervise staff to ensure that referral development activity is ongoing, the department’s processes and procedures are current and up to date and that a marketing and advertising strategy is in place and operates within budget

  • Consistently recruits and manages high quality professional staff to work in the Business Development & Communication department so as to meet requirements of patients, referents and payers
