(Per-Diem) Reporting to the Senior Program Director, the Facility Manager provides leadership and administrative and clinical management of an STRTP facility and continuing care planning for residents. The Facility Manager is responsible the effective delivery of gender-specific, trauma-informed, evidenced based services to clients and family members, providing leadership, management and clinical supervision to staff in the delivery of direct service to teens, and ensuring the successful integration of treatment and educational services. At least one Facility Manager will be present at the facility at all times when one or more children are present.

The Facility Manager shall be at least 21 years of age and shall meet one of the following three (3) requirements prior to employment:
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree.OR
Two years of full-time experience, or its equivalent, working with the population to be served, or equivalent education or experience, as determined by CDSS (performed as a paid or volunteer staff person whose duties required direct supervision and care of the population served).OR
Two years of experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home or short-term residential therapeutic program performing those duties.
Certified by a certified body recognized by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) as an alcohol and drug counselor ( highly preferred)
Registered by a certifying body recognized by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) as an alcohol and drug counselor prior to date of your hire (required)
In addition, prior to assuming the duties and responsibilities of the Facility Manager, the individual shall complete a minimum of one hour of training required by STRTP Licensing Standards Section 87065.1(a) (c) (d).
At least three years of experience working in an (adolescent) co-occurring residential or outpatient treatment setting.
At least two years of supervisory experience overseeing therapeutic staff in a substance abuse/mental health treatment environment.
Strong crisis management, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.
Ability and willingness to report to work on time and ready for work on each scheduled day.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make decisions independently and effective communication when dealing with clients, families, other staff members, department heads, visitors, external agencies and community members.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with appropriate documentation skills to complete reports, utilize data and communicate ideas constructively.
Ability to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with client/patients of Phoenix House.
Must show an aptitude for service and for working as part of a team.
Computer literacy with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
Demonstrated ability to utilize an electronic clinical management system.
Excellent organization skills and demonstrated ability to learn.
Must maintain a valid CA Drivers’ License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy.
