Phoenix House is looking for a Full-Time LPN for our Ronkonkoma location. The LPN will provide prescribed treatment and nursing care to patients. Implement doctor's orders, monitor specified medication/refills. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, and maintain medical/nursing records. Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Administer prescribed medications; monitor vital signs and other detoxification symptoms/responses.
Coordinate provision of medications with providers and pharmacy
Maintain medical/nursing records.
Crisis management and be organized.
Licensed Practical Nurse for New York State
NARCAN/Opioid Overdose Reversal
Administration of medications, acquisition of vital signs and documentation of such interventions.
Ability to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team
Experience with substance abuse patients and the ability to identify signs/symptoms of overdose and withdrawal.
