(Per-Diem) Reporting to the House Manager, the Recovery Advocate provides youth client

supervision and to ensure compliance with program schedule during waking and

sleeping hours. Phoenix House, the nation’s leading non-profit substance abuse

service provider, offers substance abuse services to the Dallas, Austin and the

Houston/Galveston Bay communities that offer a continuum of care including

community coalition mobilization, prevention education, residential and

outpatient treatment, day treatment, aftercare and family support services.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • High

School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

  • At

least one-year experience working with youth or substance abuse population

preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong

organizational skills

  • Effective

verbal and written communication skills

  • Good

computer skills

  • Must

maintain a valid TX Drivers’ License, have proof of automobile insurance and

maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy.
