We are seeking a full-time Licensed Counselor to provide treatment services, including individual and group counseling as well as biopsychosocial assessments, to clients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation, and be comfortable working with both adults and adolescents who have substance abuse or co-occurring mental health disorders.

Phoenix House is proud to announce this role resides in the newly renovated Derek Jeter Center at the Heartwood campus in Brandon, FL, specializing in Outpatient and IOP.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

• Master's degree or higher in a counseling-related field

  • Current license in hand to provide mental health treatment services in the state of Florida, such as an LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW is required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years of addictions counseling experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to use an electronic health record

  • English-Spanish bilingual preferred

  • Highly organized and accountable

  • Customer service-oriented

  • Solid ethics and professional boundaries
